JESUS, AMERICA, JESUS

(to the tune of My Country, 'Tis of Thee)

Jesus, who died that we

All might choose liberty

Choose ye this day

To be redeemed from sin

Restored to God our King

That we may truly sing

Let freedom ring

Blessings America,

The Church of the Open Bible of Cherryfield, Maine, would like to say, "Thank u 4 fighting 4 our peace!" to our troops, because we realize that someone has to. We recently packed and sent out boxes for for Alan Stanwood, J.J. Taylor, Wade Walker, and Andrea Hawkins. If you know of one or more of our troops in need of a show of appreciation, then send us their name and contact information, so that we can love on them through personal e-mails and care packages. It would be our honor, for it is truly the very least that we can do for these -- our heros -- to show not only how much we appreciate their sacrifice, but how much their Heavenly Father loves and appreciates them as well. Click here to send contact information for these troops to our pastor.

If you would like to contribute items for our care packages, the following have been requested; flea powder, peanuts, sunscreen, wipes, fly strips, and/or whatever the Lord lays on your heart! Click here for our contact info.

In His Service,

Mrs. Eryn Green

MANY BRAVE SOULS
Many brave souls go out to fight. Many brave souls risk their lives. And many brave souls will lose their lives. And many brave souls will come back alive. And many brave souls will live the rest of their lives remembering that they were a part of those many brave souls who keep this country free.

Have you prayed for a soldier today?

The Church of the Open Bible of Cherryfield, Maine wants to remind Christians in America to pray for our troops around the world -- defending not only our freedom but our peace -- because each and every one is some parent's child, some brother or sister's brother or sister, some uncle or aunt's nephew or niece, or some nephew or niece's uncle or aunt, ... some husband or wife's husband or wife, and some child's parent. So, we don't want to lose one that we've been given. Not that some won't fall, but for the Soldier for Christ (Always remember, Christ, who died for all, so that all might live for and someday with Him. See John 3:16), he or she will rise again (and live eternally with the One True God in Heaven).

If you are an American Soldier, whether you are a Christian or not, this blog is for you. We would like to serve you here by giving you an opportunity to share with your country, especially loved ones, as well as by giving your country, especially loved ones the chance to correspond with you. We hope you are not offended by Christ, for He is not offended by you. He loves you and just wants you to know that He has your back on this side as well as the other side of Heaven, if you let Him. So, don't try to go it alone out there. You are never alone, when you are in Christ Jesus our Lord.

And for the Christian Soldier fighting for this country, remember the Lord loves you, but He also loves your human enemies, because He created them too. So, share when you can and pray always for all people (And it's not selfish to include yourself, only smart. He hears. And He answers.), in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, we are praying. Amen.
