MONDAY: THE 3FOLD CORD OF PRAYER

Read Ecclesiastes 4:9-12

In the book of Psalms there is an interwoven pattern of Reverence, Praise and Thanksgiving found throughout each chapter. Reverence too is made up of three: Seeking Him, Knowing Him, and Loving Him. We will begin today Seeking Him. Read  2 Chronicles 7:14 and Matthew 7:7-11. How does one seek an omnipresent God, who is everywhere at the same time including all time? Better still, how does one miss Him, when He is always there? While some don’t want Christ at all, others are not yet ready to surrender all to Him. Though in Matthew 19:29-30 and Luke 18:29-30, Jesus promises to restore to us even more than what we give up to follow Him, we tend to hold onto certain areas feeling that we can do more or better with that area than the One True omnipresent, omnipotent and omniscient God...
