TUESDAY: SEEKING YOU, FINDING ME

Read 1 Samuel 16:10-13

Who do we think we are? The truth is that we need to seek God, not only to learn who He really is, but to truly get to know ourselves: the good, the bad ... and the ugly. Be encouraged, however, because success stories always follow a nasty before picture. And no one ever had a more accurate photographer than the Lord.

As I learned that God is my Father, it was revealed that I am His child.

As I came to understand that God is my Savior, I knew that I was a sinner.

As I began to comprehend His strength, I became painfully aware of my weaknesses.

And as I experience the sufficiency of His grace, I find rest in the wholeness, the completion, the wellness of me in Him.
