FRIDAY: 3-IN-1

Read Matthew 28:19

The Trinity. A really confusing subject for me, once upon a time. Until the Lord simplified it for me with a couple of analogies. I pray that they bless you as well. The first: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit is literally God, His Word, and His Spirit. We are human beings. Within us is a spirit. We speak words. The knowledge of this causes no one to mistake an individual for three people. The second illustration has to do with the function of these three whole parts of Almighty God: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit are as a Producer, Director, and Actor (or for you business professionals perhaps an Entrepreneur, Manager, and Technician). God the Father conceiving thoughts or ideas that God the Son (who is God’s Word) expresses or conveys that the Holy Spirit of God acts out or performs; does. Read also Genesis 1. The One True God we serve is just that; One, not three, but because of the very distinct and significant roles that each whole part of Himself plays in our lives, the Lord reveals each one to our hearts with great detail that we may understand to the degree that we need to, in order to live in oneness with Him.
