SATURDAY: THE ONENESS OF FATHER AND SON
Read John 10:30
Read also John 1. In it you will read that Jesus Christ is the Word of God made flesh. Huh? Well, it’s true, and I pray that the Holy Spirit give you His understanding on the matter, if He has not already. See, in the beginning was God, His Word and His Spirit. God was One. But after Adam sinned leaving us an inheritance of sin nature, and it’s consequences of physical death, eternal separation from holy God, and Hell, God needed a qualified one to exchange places with us that we could be redeemed or saved from our condition. There was no one but Himself, so He by way of His Spirit planted His Word in the womb of a virgin harvesting our Redeemer, Savior, and Lord, Jesus -- who is the Christ -- of Nazareth. Qualified because He is 100% Human and 100% God. Qualified because His father being God, He did not inherit sin nature and it’s consequences, and as a result lived a sinless life, then exchanged places with us by dying on the cross, but then was raised to life again on the third day by the Holy Spirit of God. The result is that we are saved who believe and follow Him. And God the Father is still One with His Word though He be made flesh.
